Born in Uzbekistan to an Armenian immigrant family, I’ve always been drawn to stories that explore identity, resilience, and the outsider’s journey. I began my creative path in fashion, designing for major retailers, before transitioning to film—first as a producer, then as a writer-director with a love for character-driven narratives.
Influenced by the emotional depth of Tarkovsky and the visual flair of Almodóvar, I bring a distinct sensibility shaped by both cinema and my multi-cultural background. My films have screened at festivals worldwide, with one, Funeral, featured in The Film Fund’s auteur collection. My scripts have placed with the Academy Nicholl Fellowship and ScreenCraft, and my work has reached global audiences.
To date, I’ve directed four features and produced over a dozen narrative projects. I’m currently developing a slate of film and television series across genres, always grounded in bold storytelling with heart and edge.
